"For me, strategy is about defining a goal and mapping out the path to that goal. It's important to consider all the milestones along the way and to involve everyone in the company to get buy-in. No one likes decisions or changes to be made without them having the opportunity to be involved.

I had decided that we needed a good strategy process and was looking for a tool that would make it easy for us to use the results of the process in our future work.

We've had many strategy processes in the past where there hasn't been sufficient follow-up on the outcome afterwards or where it hasn't been addressed on a regular basis.
