As CFO and co-owner, MakeMyStrategy gives MakeMyStrategy a good feeling and security, also for our budgets and the goals we have set for the future—we will definitely achieve them.
The three most important things we have gained from MakeMyStrategy that the entire strategy process has been documented, it has been a structured process, and we have involved our entire organization.
We developed a strategy 5-6 years ago, but we didn't embed it well enough in our organization. We also didn't work through it thoroughly enough, and there wasn't a consistent thread running through it. We also failed to involve our organization.
But we are doing all of that now. Now we have our entire organization involved. We have worked through the strategy step by step. Previously, we did a SWOT analysis, created a vision and mission, and then thought we had a strategy. Now we not only have a SWOT, we also have Must-Win Battles and we have some action plans—so it has become much more concrete.
We have become more aligned because the board and shareholders have also been involved. They have also contributed to some working groups together with people from the organization who are not necessarily part of the management team.
I would like to recommend MakeMyStrategy we have gained a really good tool that we can return to and use to anchor the strategy throughout the organization.
