How does the AI support in MakeMyStrategy™ work?

In the Pro version, you have the option to opt for integrated AI support. MakeMyStrategy offers AI without liability according to the terms.

This AI support is designed to enhance and optimize your existing strategic data. It is not designed to develop the strategy from scratch without your own data, but rather it is designed to strengthen the basis for decision-making.

It's trained with strategic thinking - and made to work with you.

➡️ Use it as a sounding board, idea generator and editor - not as a checklist.

What can the AI support do?

In order for the AI to provide the most relevant support, you are initially asked a series of questions. Once these questions are answered, the AI can make suggestions:

✅ text improvements

✅ recommendations for SWOT elements

✅ strategic priorities and opt-outs

✅ concrete need for change expressed as traffic lights

✅ Specific must-win battles

➡️ You are in charge and in control - the AI empowers your reflections.

Why this AI setup?

You still develop your strategy in MakeMyStrategy™ - the AI supports you - without taking over the decision-making power.

Safety and security

MakeMyStrategy integrates the OpenAI API at the enterprise level. As we are still in beta, there may be occasional delays or incomplete responses.

The questions and answers submitted are processed on OpenAI's infrastructure in the United States and stored for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring purposes only. They are then automatically deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law.

OpenAI does not use your data to train or improve its models.

If your organization requires all data to remain within the EU, please contact us - we can forward your requests via Azure OpenAI in an EU data border region.

Avoid submitting personal data in the prompt.

We use the documents, methods and models available on MakeMyStrategy to prompt the model.

In our agreement with OpenAI, we have prohibited "conversations" from being used to train the AI model. On the OpenAI website, they are very clear that the data sent to the OpenAI API is not used to train or improve OpenAI models.

At the same time, OpenAI is subject to government requirements to hand over logs about the use of their services.
