We are on track all the time

As the new CEO, I could see a need for a new strategy.

MakeMyStrategy™ is a tool we can use in the leadership team because it guides us through the strategy process. The platform helps lay the rails for the long term. And we get the whole organization involved.

And we're always on track with where we are.

We can change the strategy, we can adapt it and we have the opportunity to stay close to the strategy at all times.

We are excited to work with MakeMyStrategy™.

I can only recommend MakeMyStrategy™ from here - a great tool and it's professional to work with."

Aarbus

AarBus is owned by the regional traffic company Midttrafik. They handle all city bus services in Aarhus Municipality under a contract with Midttrafik.

AarBus has 204 buses (153 operational buses and 51 reserve buses) and 655 employees, of which 578 are bus drivers. In 2021, the total annual revenue was approximately €480 million.

They produce approximately 545,000 hours annually, resulting in approximately 95,000 passenger trips on weekdays.

AarBus has been environmentally certified according to the ISO 14001 standard since 2012. One of the key elements of the certification is managing the company's environmental impact. Their major environmental impact comes from the buses, which is why they focus on the buses they buy and the daily operation of the buses (electricity/diesel consumption, tires, etc.). While still purchasing diesel buses, they always bought buses with the best Euro standard available on the market. Their last diesel bus was purchased in 2017. In August 2019, they put the first 4 electric buses into operation and their fleet now consists of 118 electric buses in total. By 2027 at the latest, all their operational buses will be electric, and by 2030, their reserve buses will also be electric.

Every employee at AarBus is responsible for delivering the best possible service. The management of each department is responsible for making it as easy as possible to deliver quality and service to passengers. In general, management is ultimately responsible for the overall quality concept.
